INTERNATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL SCIENCE CONFERENCE

15TH & 16TH JANUARY 2022

New Beginnings

ABOUT

New Beginnings
2022

New Beginnings is an international high school science conference organised by students, for students. The two-day conference be taking place online on the 15th and 16th January 2022. Through the conference, we hope to provide high school students with an opportunity to showcase science research projects they have been working on, and to discover more about research projects being conducted by their peers all over the world! Additionally, we want to bring together and enable like-minded students who have interests in various areas of science to engage in meaningful discussions about today's most pressing scientific issues.

On Day 1, the zoom webinar will commence with a live keynote address. You will then have the opportunity to witness various virtual exhibits from high school students who will be showcasing their science projects, with an interactive Q&A segment after each presentation. The projects will cover several fields of science including chemistry, biology, physics, medicine and much more, so there's no doubt that you'll find one that interests you!

On Day 2, you will engage in a discussion workshop with a group of fellow global participants in breakout rooms. Based on your science subject of interest, your group will be given a set of prompts to choose from and you will respond to it by collaboratively formulating a poster or video presentation. These posters and presentations will be exhibited on our New Beginnings website and Instagram page after the conference!
